In early 2020, the Attic Presence was invoked. The aural representation of an unsettling experience, the first demo, “The Unwelcomed One”, was recorded over the course of two days by seasoned Black Metal and Dungeon Synth artist Vöghräth.

While the artist has worked tirelessly to perfect a noble, melancholic, and majestic sound with other projects like Ardente and The IXth Key, Attic Presence represents a more direct, uncompromising sound, akin to a spiritual and psychic assault.

“The Unwelcomed One” is bookended by two romantic interludes of piano and ambience, and a similar short interlude in the middle of the album gives the listener just a moment to let their guard down before the terror resumes in full force, with powerful songwriting that treat the guitar and vocals as a conduit to the beyond.

Only enter the realm of the Attic Presence if you are certain you can survive the night...
